Our recent trip to Tokyo DisneySea was an adventure filled with enchantment and excitement, especially for my daughters, Karlye and Rylie. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the newly opened Fantasy Springs land, a realm where fairy tales come to life.
Arrival at DisneySea Fantasy Springs
As we approached the gates of Fantasy Springs, Karlye and Rylie could hardly contain their excitement. The air was filled with a magical ambiance, and the detailed architecture transported us straight into the heart of beloved Disney stories. The land is divided into different areas, each inspired by classic Disney tales, and we were eager to explore them all.
Tips for Getting Into DisneySea Fantasy Springs
- The easiest, fastest, but most expensive way is to stay at the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. Note you must still have a Tokyo DisneySea entrance ticket. Only Fantasy Springs Hotel has this exclusive perk and not other Disney hotels!
- Standby access is available throughout the day. With a valid DisneySea ticket, you need to access this via the Tokyo Disneyland app. This is random so you’ll need to check through the day.
- Book a reservation for one of the restaurants such as the Royal Banquet of Arendelle. This will allow you access in, be sure to place your order through the app as well.
Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival
Our first stop was Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival. The ride’s queue was beautifully themed, adorned with glowing lanterns and vibrant murals depicting scenes from “Tangled.” Karlye’s eyes lit up as we boarded our boat, and Rylie couldn’t stop smiling as we floated along the serene river, surrounded by thousands of twinkling lanterns. The ride perfectly captured the movie’s magic, making us feel like we were part of Rapunzel and Flynn’s romantic journey.
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure
Next, we ventured into Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure. The entrance, marked by a towering pirate ship, instantly captured our imagination. Karlye and Rylie were thrilled to board the ride, which took us soaring over the streets of London and into the whimsical world of Never Land. We flew past mermaids, encountered pirates, and even saw the mischievous Tinker Bell. The girls loved the sensation of flying, and their laughter echoed throughout the ride.
Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey
Our journey continued with Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey. This ride was a must for Rylie, who is a huge fan of “Frozen.” The attraction was a breathtaking experience, taking us through the icy landscapes of Arendelle. We sang along to “Let It Go” as we passed Elsa’s ice palace, and Karlye was mesmerized by the intricate ice sculptures. The animatronics of Anna, Elsa, and Olaf were incredibly lifelike, making the experience even more magical.
Dining at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle
After a morning filled with adventures, we decided to take a break and enjoy a meal at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle. The dining hall was straight out of a fairy tale, with grand chandeliers and elegant decor. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes inspired by the “Frozen” movies. Karlye and Rylie were delighted with their meals, especially the themed desserts that looked almost too beautiful to eat. The Royal Banquet provided a perfect blend of fine dining and Disney magic, giving us a moment to relax and recharge.

Our day at Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs was truly unforgettable. Karlye and Rylie’s excitement and joy made the experience even more special. The new land is a testament to Disney’s ability to create immersive and enchanting worlds that captivate the hearts of both young and old. We left with hearts full of magical memories and a promise to return to this fantastical land.
